Anna Gammelgaard # The Thing-finder, a Narrative

“Once upon a future time, in a post-apocalyptic scenario a survivor is woken up by a dream that evokes vague memories of the life “before” and her only distinct memory is a melody. Every night, she listens to that same melody through her dreams, clinging to the composition of these notes. The melody starts with an A, and in an environment with no electricity or machinery, a tuning fork with the pitch of A is her single utensil to produce the note she is pursuing in this dislocated reality. The task of “thing-finding” engages her all day. She gathers materials and components to build musical instruments that will enable her to play the tune. Driven by an endless anxiety of forgetting the single memory from her past, the search for notes becomes her raison d'être.” Anna Gammelgaard

'Throw away Mentality'. Social waste of a reusable Rejection. Overture scenica conclusiva dell'ultimo atto, sfociante chiusura separativa visionaria Post-Apocalittico, risvegliante del sogno onirico intrinseco della memoria di un universo passato degradante, coronato dalla mnemonica melodia del lento decadimento, conclusivo della fine reale.
Comprensione oggettistica risalente a un manufatto storico ritrovato in uno scavo, rispecchiante reale di una conoscenza stilistica umana a cui era appartenuto, generativa di una scoperta connaturata di emozioni anteriori, una personale artificiosa storia funzionale, trascinata con la forza in un mondo distante dalla sua origine, semplice rinvenimento analizzante come un oggetto ignoto, per il finale arricchire descrittivo della nostra fonte conoscitiva del passato.
Design di progetto nascente da un procreazione, esaminata come il dispositivo di una tentata comprensione del comportamento umano, legato indissolubilmente al rapporto con il mondo materiale, un ciclo materico imperterrito continuativo dell'utilizzo e dello scarto, celebrato in una progettazione nata dall'utilizzo di quello che gli altri hanno scartato, etichettandolo come rifiuto, ma concepito come un manufatto storico possedente di una propria storia, appartenente ad un ignoto ex-possessore.

Overture final stage of the last act, leading to the closure separative visionary Post-Apocalyptic, rousing the dream dream intrinsic memory of a past universe degrading, crowned by the mnemonic melody of the slow decay of the final end real. 

Understanding objects dating back to a historical artifact discovered in an excavation, reflecting a real stylistic human knowledge to which he had belonged, generative of a discovery of innate emotions front, a personal history of artificial functional, dragged by force in a world far from its origin simple discovery analyzing how an object unknown to enrich the final source of our descriptive knowledge of the past. 

Design project arising from a procreation, examined how the mechanism for an attempted understanding of human behavior, inextricably linked to the relationship with the material world, a loop material undaunted and continued use of the gap, celebrated in a design created by the use of what others have discarded, labeling it as rejection, but conceived as a historical artifact possessing its own history, belonging to an unknown ex-owner.
