Fashion in the Desert. Ideata dagli Artisti Danesi Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragset e poi realizzata in collaborazione con gli Architetti Ronald Rael & Virginia San Fratello, Prada Marfa è un installazione artistica nella Contea di Jeff Davis.
Ideata come una struttura che va lenta verso il degrado e la di
struzione da parte degli agenti atmosferici, Prada Marfa appare in tutto e per tutto come un Atelier della Maison Prada, anche gli Accessori all'interno, appartenenti alla Collezione Autumn-Winter 2005, forniti da Miuccia Prada, sono autentici.
Una celebrazione del Lusso, ispirata alla Società attuale
basata sul consumismo, una struttura che va a generare un forte contrasto con il contesto circostante, che causa nello spettatore una sorta di smarrimento, rompendo così determinati schemi.
Un solido esempio d'Arte Contemporanea, una provocazione sul tema dell' (in)utilità del lusso?

Fashion in the Desert. Designed by Danish artist Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragset and then in collaboration with the Architects Ronald Rael & Virginia San Fratello, Prada Marfa is an art installation in Jeff Davis County.

Conceived as a structure that goes to the slow degradation and destruction by the weather, Prada Marfa is in all respects as a Maison Atelier of Prada, also Accessory inside, belonging to the Collection Autumn-Winter 2005, provided by Miuccia Prada, are authentic.

A celebration of luxury, inspired by the Company based on current consumption, a structure that goes to create a strong contrast with the surrounding context, which causes the viewer a kind of loss, thus breaking certain patterns.
